Room with a View
When artistic flair meets German precision, and they needed a little more space for their bedroom- a dynamic modern addition was the perfect solution. Already perched in a hillside, the existing house had great view and a vaulted ceiling in the main space, however the rear of the house had a low ceiling, cramped kitchen and dining area that needed some work. Adding a second floor above offered an opportunity to open the spaces, and allow the stair to connect everything. The result is a bedroom with a view, a dining room with a view and spaces that both feel connected while maintaining clear separation. Each space has a different feeling and mood – all are totally focused on wellbeing. The stress-reducing pathway up to the house continues within the house as each area provides a soothing setting. It’s hard to feel anything but joy.
